Bharat  is an upcoming  Hindi-language   drama film  directed by  Ali Abbas Zafar  and jointly produced by  Atul Agnihotri ,  Alvira Khan Agnihotri ,  Bhushan Kumar ,  Krishan Kumar , Nikhil Namit and  Salman Khan . The film stars Salman Khan,  Katrina Kaif ,  Tabu ,  Disha Patani  and  Shashank Arora . Principal photography began in June 2018 and  Bharat  is scheduled for a theatrical release on 5 June 2019 on the occasion of  Eid al-Fitr  This is an official adaptation of the 2014  South Korean film   Ode to My Father .
